Math and Science Resource: THE STARR COMMONWEALTH SCHOOLS

The main premise of this program is to use Adventure based activities to increase self-awareness and improve group relationships. To do this, individuals, willing to leave behind the comforts of their normal daily lives, accept the challenge of workin a small group to overcome uncertainties encountered in a specially structured experience. For the event to be successful, the individuals find that they must depend not only on their ability to function both mentally and physically, but also on the ability of the whole group to work together effectively.
