Project Description

Presenters will visit your classroom and talk about the components of solid waste handling, including reduction, recycling, landfills, and composting. Field trips are available. This service is available to local and county teachers and extends to some other areas of Southwestern Michigan. Other printed materials are available. BFI can help establish recycling programs for selected materials in some locales.

Grade Level: K through undergraduate college level
Number: Varies depending upon age of audience; a maximum of 25-30 persons is desirable
