River Oaks Park
River Oaks is located between Galesburg and Comstock. It is on East Michigan. At River Oaks they have the kite festival, the VFW party, the Silver Leaf Renaissance Faire, and people also go to play soccer on their soccer fields. Now they have new Wenke softball diamonds. River Oaks is a county park but the township is managing the Wenke softball diamonds. The Wenke softball complex was estimated to cost $291,000. Players would probably be allowed in the park for free but spectators would have to pay the gate fee.
The Renaissance Faire
The Renaissance Faire not only has a queen and knights but other characters such as blacksmiths, jugglers, sword swallowers, dancers, and many more. It is also alcohol free!! It is fun for all members of the family. Two hundred and fifty people participate in it. Thousands of people go there.
