Train Wrecks In Comstock

The two dangerous train wrecks that happened in Comstock made a great stir.

The 1926 train wreck occurred when an interurban train car was going to Kalamazoo from Galesburg.

The  motorman fell asleep and didn't stop fast enough to avoid a wreck.  The motorman was burned by the broken boiler system. The one passenger got glass cuts.

This wreck happened during the month of March.
