Accomplishments
SJV league meet: Both the girls and boys placed second.
Regional Meet: The girls' placed fourth as a team. Chelsea placed sixth at regionals and will also represent Mendon at the state meet. The boys placed third as a team, allowing them to run at the state meet. Placing individually for the boys were Michael Terry, Gary Hiatt, and Dustin Steinberger.
State Finals: Chelsea Mohney placed (69), Michael Terry placed (33), Dustin Steinberger placed (66), Gary Hiatt (74), Zach Hufstedler (157), Tim Grimm (206th), Christian Russell (210), and John Nelson (217). The Boy's team placed 15th overall as a team.
The Mendon cross-country team enjoyed another season with many of the runners having the chance to run at the state meet. While the seniors are sad that the cross-country season is now over many of the other runners look forward to returning next year.
